Dr I-Ferne Tan

Dr I-Ferne Tan is a fertility specialist and reproductive surgeon based in Sydney, Australia. Originally from Melbourne, I-Ferne’s pursuit of excellence has taken her throughout Australia and Singapore to develop broader and cutting edge treatment options for her patients.

 

Whilst she is skilled in managing all aspects of women's health, her passion lies in abnormal bleeding and period disorders, pelvic pain, fertility preservation, unexplained infertility, and miscarriage.

Dr Tan consults in English and Mandarin (conversational).

Outside of work, you can find I-Ferne at home teaching her two daughters how to bake the perfect chocolate chip cookie.

Reproductive surgery

There are many conditions that can cause obstruction or inflammation of your reproductive organs, making it hard for you to get pregnant or can cause a miscarriage.  

  1. Polyps and Fibroids

  2. Uterine scar tissue and septums

  3. Endometriosis and pelvic scar tissue

  4. Previous sterilisation procedure (tubal ligation or vasectomy)

  5. Fallopian tube problems (blocked, swollen, infected)

Assisted Reproductive Techniques
